For the last 16 years I have been invited to POW WOW, a spring conference of 6,000 travel industry professionals from around the world.

Travel Media Showcase
Each fall I am one of 80 journalists invited to the Travel Media Showcase where 60 travel CVB's make one-on-one presentations to journalists.

Radio
I am a frequent guest on "Travel Planners," a syndicated radio show devoted to travel.  On the show I discuss my most recent trip, giving advice on where to stay and eat, and what to see at the destination.The show airs on stations in Chicago and Springfield, Illinois, St. Louis, and eight other stations in the U. S. as well as in the Netherlands.

RECOGNITION
 The Week magazine has carried three of my articles. The magazine has a circulation of 600,000.  Wikipedia describes The Week as having "standards that are very high  and only accepting the best of the best writing."
At the IPW 2018 conference in Denver an article I wrote on the best dude ranches in the west placed 4th out of 300 entries.
